This Floral pattern grinder is a uniquely beautiful beast
Before I start my review for this grinder I have to
say I have my medical marijuana card, and that is what I use this grinder for. This
grinder is made for use with all different kinds of things, but lets face it
this is what 90% of people who buy this will be using it for.
This is definitely not your basic stainless steel grinder, not even the metal is the same. The metal feels way heavier and it doesn't feel cheap at all like some thinner stainless ones do. It is like regular ones in some basic ways though, it is made up of 3 different compartments or sections. These sections fit and work together to grind up whatever you put in it, just like any other grinder.
There is the
top section with the teeth where you put what needs to be ground up. This
section is different from compartment 1 other grinders in more then one way.
First of all the teeth are larger then most this allows you to completely grind
things much quicker. Second difference, it is held down with a magnet. Most
that I have owned the top just pushes on, and you hold it down as you turn back
and forth. The magnet on this on is strong enough that you push it down once
and you don’t have to hold it down the whole time. When empty the magnet will
allow you to pick it up by the cover, it’s that strong. The last difference on
this section is the hole size. The holes allow the ground material to drop down
into the second compartment/section. On most grinders the wholes are all one
size, small. In this one there are small holes but there is also a circle of
larger holes around the outer edge, these keep it from being all tiny, tiny
pieces when your finished.
The second section is the holding chamber. Now on
every grinder this is the biggest section, but yet again this one goes above
and beyond. The storage chamber on this is absolutely huge, seriously there is no
other way to describe it. It measures 2 inches from the bottom of the teeth to
the stainless mesh in the bottom. To put this in perspective my others measure
anywhere from ½ an inch to 1 inch tall. This is great for two reasons. The
first is that I can grind up extra and have it on hand, ready to go when I want
it. It doesn’t even dry out because the whole thing is air tight. The second
reason is that it allows the crystals and dust to fall through the mesh,
without having to put a quarter in there.
The final section is the keef catching tray on the
bottom. This is where everything that fits through the mesh is caught, this
includes crystals, hairs, dust, and whatever else. This part is a little taller
then normal, but it is basically the same. This grinder does include a little black scraping tool to use in this section, because this stuff can really stick on there.
The Final part that makes this grinder so amazing
is the outside design. The grinder is covered in beautiful red flowers and green
grass. Plus an added bonus, they always line up correctly. I never have split
flowers. This thing works and looks better then any Grinder I have ever owned.
Every one that sees it asks me where I got it and wants to take it home with
them. Sorry this is so long, but I really think this is the best grinder out
there no matter what your using it for.
